1. Thinly cut off the top of the soap with a paring knife to create a flat surface.
2. Draw a frame and outlines of two leaves with a toothpick.
3. Mark a horizontal line around the soap.
4. Holding a carving or Exacto knife at a right angle, deeply cut the two leaves.
5. Nextly, cut the bottom left and right corners off as below.
6. Cut and remove soap around opposite side.
7. Cut the soap into blocks for making some flowers. You can use different soap to cut out soap blocks.
8. Flip the soap over to the bottom and cut a line along the edge of the soap.
9. Thinly cut off the soap inside the line with a knife.
10. Scoop out and flatten the soap with a scooping tool.
11. Draw a frame.
12. Cut a space inside frame and outside the leaves.
13. Trim and shape the leaves.
14. Make a depression on the left leaf with a binder clip.
15. Round the edges of the right leaf.
16. Cut some lines in the right leaf with a knife point.
17. Carve the back of the leaves.
18. Thinly cut off the top of the frame to flatten the surface.
19. Draw a line on the frame.
20. Carve a stripe pattern in the frame.
21. Trim the bits of soap for flowers of the lily of the valley into a small bowl shape.
22. Trim the side of the soap.
23. Divide the top of the soap into 6 equal parts.
24. Cut each part into a pointed petal.
25. Carve a hole in the center of the flower.
26. Cut small notches between the petals.
27. Repeat steps 21-36 for the rest of lily flowers.
28. Bend the tip of the wire.
29. Poke the wire into the soap flower and lightly pull the wire.
30. Curve the wire stems.
31. Twist wire stems together.
32. Cut off excess wire.
33. Make a small hole in the leaves and attach the stem to the hole.
34. Paint the leaves with food coloring with water. Done!
35. (Optional) Tie a ribbon to make the carving a hanging decoration.
36. (Optional) In order to decorate your soap with glitter, apply a little water to the soap and sprinkle the glitter.
